Women In The Tech Industry

The gender makeup of the tech industry across all 50 states was evaluated. The tech industry has traditionally been, and continues to be, male-dominated. Many states are working to encourage women to pursue STEM education and careers. While almost every state remains far from achieving equal representation, North Carolina again remains a top state. North Carolina has retained the top ranking for this metric for 10 of the 12 years of this report.
